Born and raised in Regina, Saskatchewan, Jesse Lamont is a 22-year-old singer and performer whose work bridges energy, emotion, and connection. Known for his powerful vocals and charisma, Jesse brings an authenticity to the stage that draws audiences in - first with excitement, then with heart.

For Jesse, a performance is a relationship. It begins with high energy and excitement - helping audiences leave their stressors at the door - and deepens as he invites them into moments of honesty and shared feeling through song and spoken word. His goal is simple: for every person to leave not only entertained, but moved.

Jesse discovered his passion for music at the age of fifteen, when his sister signed him up for the school musical. What began as a surprise quickly became a defining part of his life. Since 2019, he has been a regular vocalist at his local church and an active contributor to his community through music and service. Much of Jesse’s artistic growth has been shaped by his years with Sask Express, with whom he has toured and collaborated extensively. He credits the company not only for refining his craft, but for helping him grow into the performer-and the person-he is today.

Beyond the stage, Jesse is a full-time student at the University of Regina. He majors in Philosophy and Classics and is very passionate about the material he studies. Jesse is drawn to questions of meaning, virtue, and what it means to live well. He aims to bridge the divide between the artist and the thinker as both seek to uncover truth, to communicate it, and to inspire others toward it. For him, music and performance are living expressions of that search. Every song, every word, every gesture is an invitation for audiences to join him in exploring “The Good Life” - not as an abstract ideal, but as something to be practiced, shared, and felt together.
